`The Woman in the Wall' starring Ruth Wilson and Daryl McCormack, follows the horrors experienced by an Irish woman Lorna Brady, who wakes one morning to find a dead body in her house. Lorna has no idea who the dead woman is, or even of her own culpability, as she suffers from extreme bouts of sleepwalking from her time incarcerated in the infamous Kilkinure Convent. inspired by real-life stories of those who spent time imprisoned in Magdalene Laundries. Detective Colman Akande, who hides his own past, starts investigating her for a crime that is unrelated to the dead woman. The series also covers illegal adoptions by the convent part of the UK/Eire wide thousands of women forced to give up their babies. Including the detective's own birth in a convent.

Children and young people in social care, and those who have left, are often subject to stigmatisation and discrimination. Being stigmatised and discriminated against can impact negatively on mental health and wellbeing not only during the care experience but often for many years after too. The project aims to contribute towards changing community attitudes towards care experienced people as a group.
