Sleeping Dog (2023) is a German thriller. A former detective and a new prosecutor work together to investigate a murder case which is assumed solved but which involves a police cover up.
Included in the cast of characters is a young homeless woman who was in kinship care and a contemporary police officer who is contemplating fostering an orphaned child.
