Mixed Blessings follows the stories of 3 couples as they struggle to have children. One couple decide to adopt but birth mum decides to keep her baby. Another character, Charlie, is an orphan who ends up marrying another orphan and adopting a child. The 3rd couple experience enormous difficulty in getting pregant.
