Hey Arnold

1996-2004

“Hey Arnold!” was an American animated sitcom (1996-2004). Arnold lives with his eccentric grandparents. His parents were Miles and Stella—humanitarian adventurers—they disappeared in the jungles of San Lorenzo when he was a baby. The show explores Arnold’s daily life as he navigates city challenges, helps the people around him, and deals with the humorous misadventures he and his friends encounter. The series was created by Craig Bartlett for Nickelodeon.

Children and young people in social care, and those who have left, are often subject to stigmatisation and discrimination. Being stigmatised and discriminated against can impact negatively on mental health and wellbeing not only during the care experience but often for many years after too. The project aims to contribute towards changing community attitudes towards care experienced people as a group. See glossary HERE
