The Trial

Prosecutor Elena Guerra is asked to investigate a murder. It is not long before she realises the dead teen was the baby she gave up for adoption 17 years ago. Guerra continues with the case, not telling anyone other than the father of the child, although Guerra's father - a magistrate - guesses and advises Guerra that she should not continue.

Children and young people in social care, and those who have left, are often subject to stigmatisation and discrimination. Being stigmatised and discriminated against can impact negatively on mental health and wellbeing not only during the care experience but often for many years after too. The project aims to contribute towards changing community attitudes towards care experienced people as a group. See glossary HERE
