The Bambers. Murder at the Farm

2021

The Bambers: Murder at the Farm (2021) is a 4-part documentary series directed by Louis Theroux.

The documentary explores the 1985 White House Farm murders in Essex, where Jeremy Bamber was convicted of killing 5 family members – his adoptive parents, his adoptive sister & her twin sons.

The series examines new evidence as well as archive footage & audio tapes.

Despite being one of the few UK prisoners on a whole-life tariff, Bamber has maintained his innocence for over 35 years.

Trauma warning: This archive contains material relating to care experience including references to abuse, neglect, sexual violence, and institutional harm.

Children and young people in social care, and those who have left, are often subject to stigmatisation and discrimination. Being stigmatised and discriminated against can impact negatively on mental health and wellbeing not only during the care experience but often for many years after too. The project aims to contribute towards changing community attitudes towards care experienced people as a group. See glossary HERE
