Peter Gronlund
Peter Gronlund (b. 1977) was the director of Land of Sin (2026) & is widely known as Sweden’s Ken Loach because of his attention to social & political issues such as social class, drug abuse & homelessness.
Gronlund was born in Tehran, Iran. After he was adopted by his Swedish parents, he grew up in Bromma in the western part of Stockholm.
Peter Gronlund directed his first film in 2009. Jonn Heiskanen was followed by another short film Broderna Jaukka in 2010.
Gronlund made his first feature film directing and writing Drifters in 2015.
Land of Sin is the 2nd television series has directed, which he also wrote.
