Debika and Aniruddha are a Bengali couple living in Stavanger, Norway with their two children. Following repeated visits by Norwegian Child Welfare Services their two children are taking away from them and placed in foster care. Debika argues that they have been misunderstood as a family because Indian familial traditions are different to Norwegian ones. Debika has to fight for her children's return. Based on a true story
