Biopic about the relationship between Richard Jenkins and his mentor Mr Burton which eventually led to the actor Richard Burton. Mr Burton adopts Richard after his own family are unwilling to allow him to continue with his schooling. He supports him through his application to Oxford and during his first major acting role.
