The documentary was directed by filmmaker Emma Cooper for Netflix. It features Irish journalist and Marilyn Monroe expert going through archival footage and interviews he conducted with people over a 3 year period 20 years after Monroe's death. Summer's conclusion is that Marilyn Monroe accidentently or deliberately killed herself with an overdose of drugs and alcohol.
