L.M. Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables (2016) is the first in a trilogy of movies based on Lucy Laud Montgomery’s eponymous novel.

Ella Ballentine stars as Anne Shirley, Marin Sheen as Mathew Cuthbert & Sara Botsford as Marilla Cuthbert.

This film was followed by Anne of Green Gables: The Good Stars (2017) & Anne of Green Gables: Fire & Dew (2017).

Children and young people in social care, and those who have left, are often subject to stigmatisation and discrimination. Being stigmatised and discriminated against can impact negatively on mental health and wellbeing not only during the care experience but often for many years after too.
