The American police procedural, Bosch - which stars Titus Welliver as homicide detective Harry Bosch who was in foster care and children's home as a child - came to an end after 7 series.

In its place is Bosch: Legacy, still starring Titus Welliver as Harry Bosch who is now a private detective.

The first series has Harry Bosch investigating what happened to the son of Whitney Vance, a wealthy businessman. Whitney had been encouraged by his family to reject his 'illegitimate' son.

Bosch discovers that the son - who was adopted as a baby - died in 1970 but there is a granddaughter.
