Andi Brierley

Andi Brerley is based in Leeds, UK. Since he was released from prison in 2005, he has become a Youth Justice Specialist and published author of two books on that subject. In addition to writing, Andi is also a public speaker and he works with young people using the PACT (Presence, Attunement, Connection & Trust) approach he has developed.

Children and young people in social care, and those who have left, are often subject to stigmatisation and discrimination. Being stigmatised and discriminated against can impact negatively on mental health and wellbeing not only during the care experience but often for many years after too. The project aims to contribute towards changing community attitudes towards care experienced people as a group. See glossary HERE
